This is an exceptional statue of Buddha Shakyamuni. Fully gilded and displaying fine engraving. Statues of this quality are seldom seen in the marketplace. His face has been hand painted and is also enriched with real gold. He sits on a double lotus base and his right arm is in the earth touching mudra. The base is hollow to allow it to be consecrated.
