Finished to a very high standard in Himalayan Sengdeng (Acacia) wood. They are light weight and easy to handle. All drums come with a fine brocade tail. Cowrie shells are also sewn into the brocade in the centre of the drum. They are protected with a fine brocade carrying case. We strive very hard to bring you quality products which are needed by practitioners. These are the best Nepalese Chöd drums we have seen on our buying trips. The skin should maintain its tightness unlike many other drums in the marketplace.
Please note that your Chöd drum will come with our newly designed brocade carrying case. These cases have much finer stitching and the case is generally more secure than other cases in the marketplace. The case flap has added velcro which helps protect the drum and keeps the case looking neat at all times. The case is also lined with felt, which helps absorb moisture from the environment.
