The design on the bell shows a protective vajra border and above this are Makaras (a mythical crocodile-like creature from Indian mythology) who are holding a chain of jewels with vajras in between them. Antique Bell or Drilbu Handle

Here we have an antique bronze alloy handle with a five prong vajra at the apex. This is meant to be the handle for a ritual bell (drilbu or ghanta). The head of Prajnaparamita is seen above the long life vase. This single face represents the perfection of all the Budda's wisdoms or discriminating awareness (prajna).

The set displays fine detail and has been completed to a very high standard. The design on the bell shows a protective vajra border and above this are Makaras (a mythical crocodile-like creature from Indian mythology) who are holding a chain of jewels with vajras in between them. The bell and dorje are an important support for the Vajrayana practitioner, and these sets are certainly amongst the best in the marketplace. This sound is excellent!
