Tsa Tsas are small sacred images made from clay. They may also include blessed medicinal ingredients and be filled or stamped on the reverse with mantras. It is a common practice to make Tsa Tsa specifically to accumulate merit and purify obstacles for example. They can be placed inside a gau and then worn on the body, or they may be kept on a shrine or altar.
