A gorgeous raw silk Ngakpa or Ngakmo zentra from Bhutan. Displays white and maroon zones and has red and black stripes in the weave. These shawls also display a more difficult to source wider central zone. They have a wonderful feel to them and will become softer with regular use.
Please note that these shawls differ slightly from the other Bhutanese silk shawl that we stock, in that they display only three red and black stripes in the larger central zone. The other shawls display 5.
The are hand woven and hand dyed in Bhutan. Dry clean only!

When Pashmina is combined with silk you get a much stronger and more durable fabric, whilst still maintaining its luxurious softness.
