A magnificent hand hammered Himalayan Singing Bowl.  It has a wide range of powerful playing tones. Ranging from deep and resonant to having pure sustained mid tones, depending on whether you are using a soft mallet or puja stick. Large bowls are often difficult to play, but this bowl is effortless. It is also has a very fine engraving of the Medicine Buddha on the inside of the bowl. This is certainly one of the best sounding bowls we have offered for sale in recent years.

All of our bowls are hand selected for quality and purity of sound and only the finest bowls make it to our shop.

Comes complete with a leather covered playing stick and woven bowl rest.

The sound is superb with a wide range of warm mid to high tones, depending on whether you are using a soft mallet or puja stick. The rare raised base makes it particularly easy to hold in the hand.

A superior hand hammered Himalayan Singing Bowl of rare quality and appearance. At 12 inches in diameter this is a magnificent bowl. The two tone colour is also seldom seen on Himalayan bowls. It also curves outwards as you go up towards the lip, which is also rare and shows that this bowl was made by very skilled artisans.  On the inside of the bowl are two signatures of the makers. It has deep vibrant tones when struck with a mallet or felt playing stick. Larger bowls such as this are ideally suited as meditation gongs.

Comes complete with felt playing stick, mallet and singing bowl cushion.
Condition: An excellent bowl that carries the tarnish of age.
