Description
 
A superb hand crafted iron phurba amulet. The three sided blade is held in the mouth of the mythical Makara. The three wrathful deity heads representing the three kayas are seen at the apex. We commissioned a Tibetan family who have been making ritual items for more than 50 years to make these for us. They have used the same skills they use to make full size ritual phurbas. We are delighted with the outcome. Each piece is individually hand carved and can take many days to complete. It is extremely difficult to carve pieces of this size in such fine detail, so these truly are wearable works of sacred art.
