A very rare altar piece displaying the wealth deity Black Dzambhala, carved from Himalayan quartz. He sits in a delightful wooden shrine that is carved with various auspicious animals that include: the Garuda, Makara, snow lions and elephants. His fiery back rest is 24 K gold on copper. The altar has been inlaid with green emerald cabachons. Black Dzambhala is considered to be the chief of the five Dzambhala deities and is a manifestation of Buddha Akshobhya.
