A superb ancient dZi bead with a marvelous usage patina and reddish orange earthen hues. The surface of the bead has been worn smooth from centuries of being worn as an amulet. It displays an interesting and rarely seen zig zag decoration which is now quite faint due to its age. It would originally have had two clear diamond shaped eyes that are now just visible. The ends have great wear from rubbing against other beads. A wonderful ancient bead!

Prized in Tibet and the Himalayan regions.
Age: 2000 years old +
Collected in India in the 1970s and remaining in a private collection since that time.
