A large and very interesting Saligram stone with a cave-like cavity that reveals dense areas of golden iron pyrite and a quartz crystal right at the very back (not captured in the photo). The way the top and the bottom of the ammonite meet also adds great appeal and is considered to be a naturally occuring Lingam. This type of Himalayan ammonite is only found in the sacred Kali Gandaki river in Nepal. Here they are worshipped as a manifestation of the Hindu God, Vishnu.
