A fine looking ancient Pumtek stone bead that has some damage to one end. When this design is seen on a dZi bead, Tibetans call it a Garuda design. There are a total of 6 birds on this bead and despite the end damage it is still wearable and has a wonderful usage patina. Many collectors look for old damaged beads so that they can be capped with gold and given a new lease of life.
Condition: Very good, however, there is some loss to one end.
