A wonderful ancient agatised Pumtek stone bead with the rare radiating sun design. The bead has a central equatorial stripe with 8 lines extending horizontally across the body, which is often compared to a 'rail track' or the stitching on a rugby ball. If you view the side profile by looking at the holes, you can see this decoration also forms a sun like design. A nice example with lovely orange hues.
