Premium Makko Incense Powder
Makko powder is a much prized traditional ingredient in Japanese incense making. It can also be used as a base to burn resins and powders instead of using charcoal discs. Makko means 'incense powder' and comes form the Machillus thunbergi tree which is an evergreen native to Sout East Asia. The original wood is called Tabu in Japan and can be found at high altitude in the mountains and in native forests. It is also found in Taiwan and Indonesia and is considered to be Organic.

Makko powder is a water soluble adhesive base and can be used for making both incense sticks and cones. It is highest quality grade and burns easily and is almost completely odourless. It is also wonderful as a base for adding to other mixes of loose Sang, powder blends and resin.
