A rare bronze alloy bell and vajra from the late 19th to early 20th Century. This is a complete set which is now very hard to find and shows very nice finishing on the handle. The sound is also very good. The design on the bell shows a protective vajra border and above this are Makaras (a mythical crocodile-like creature from Indian mythology) who are holding a chain of jewels with vajras in between them.

The set comes complete with protective brocade case and brocade table cover (pictured).
