A traditional Tibetan gau with viewing window. This large piece would make a lovely container or shrine gau for sacred relics or precious items. The back removes to allow for easy storage of items. Inside is a Tsa Tsa depicting Guru Padmasambhava. The front displays auspicious symbols and it has an old brocade outer cover.

Gau is crafted from copper and white metal.
Age: 20th Century
Origin: Tibet or Nepal
