Description
 
Probably the finest iron ritual phurbas available in the world today! These pieces have been hand crafted by a Tibetan family who have been making ritual phurbas for more than 50 years. Iron is notoriously difficult to carve and these pieces have been worked entirely by hand. It has taken the maker 6 months to create just 10 phurbas for us, so this should give you an idea of the time and effort involved in each piece. This is the kind of work only commissioned by high Lamas and monasteries. They are large and majestic and have an awesome presence, which is difficult to capture in a photograph.

They are not available anywhere else and we will only be commissioning very small runs of these. They are truly works of art. We look at hundreds of iron phurbas every year in Nepal and these phurbas surpass all of them. We only have three phurbas available with superfine intricately carved iron stands.
