A master quality nine pronged set -- made by a Tibetan family who have been making authentic bells for more than 50 years. This is without doubt one of the finest sets we have seen in the past 15 years. The vajra and handle are of a quality that we have not seen available anywhere else. They are fire gilded with 24 k gold and intricately carved. The design on the bell shows a protective vajra border and above this are the traditional Makara protectors (a mythical crocodile-like creature from Indian mythology) who are holding a chain of jewels with vajras in between them. The sound is excellent!
Quality: 5 metal bronze alloy with dark antique finish. The handle and Vajra are cast in copper and then hand finished to give finer detail. They are then fire gilded with 24k gold.
The bells are approximately 19 cms high.
The sets come complete with Bhutanese cotton brocade cover.
