Description
Author: Padmasambhava and Jamgon Kongtrul Lodro Thaye
The second volume of the translation of the Lamrim Yeshe Nyingpo and its commentary by Jamgon Kongtrul the Great.
The Gradual Path of the Wisdom Essence, a hidden treasure text, or terma, by Padmasambhava, was recorded by his chief female disciple Yeshe Tsogyal and revealed and decoded by Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo and Chokgyur Lingpa. The commentary by Jamgon Kongtrul is supplemented by annotations called Entering the Path of Wisdom spoken by Jamyang Drakpa and recorded by Jokyab Rinpoche, as well as clarifications from other masters.
Volume two presents in-depth explanations of the Vajrayana Buddhist perspective. It begins with the nature of empowerment and the tantric commitments followed by clarification of the development stage.
