A superior hand hammered Himalayan Singing Bowl of rare quality and appearance. At 12 inches in diameter this is a magnificent bowl. The two tone colour is also seldom seen on Himalayan bowls. It curves outwards as you go up towards the lip, which is uncommon and shows that this bowl was made by a very skilled artisan.  On the inside of the bowl are two signatures of the makers. It has deep vibrant tones when struck with a mallet or felt playing stick. Larger bowls such as this are ideally suited as meditation gongs.

Comes complete with felt playing stick, mallet and singing bowl cushion.
Condition: An excellent bowl that carries the tarnish of age.

A large and rare hand hammered traditional Japanese temple bowl that has remained in a private collection since the 1980s. This majestic bronze bowl has characters inscribed around the outside. It has a deep resonant tone when struck with a mallet or felt playing stick. Larger bowls such as this were traditionally used in Japanese temples as a means to start and end meditation sessions.

Comes complete with playing stick, mallet and singing bowl cushion.
Condition: An excellent bowl that carries the tarnish of age.
