Chögyal Namkhai Norbu was born in 1938 in eastern Tibet and received there the ful training of an incarnate lama. He is a renowned scholar, specializing in the history and culture of Tibet, and is widely acknowledged to be one of the greatest living master of Dzogchen. He has lived in the West for many years and has taught Dzogchen at retreats around the world.
