A larger size chank shell that is traditionally used to symbolise music offerings on the shrine and is a potent symbol of the Dharma resounding in all directions. This shell has beautiful vibrant sound. It also has a leather handle which helps it to sit nicely in the hand when played.

Conch or chank shells are often used to represent an offering of music on a traditional Tibetan shrine. These genuine shells are approximately 5 to 6 inches long. Due to the nature of these shells they will display slight variation of colour and inclusions. The lovely metalwork on the shell has been silver plated and is inlaid with imitation coral and turquoise. Even though they are small there is a hole at the apex to allow them to be played. They would make a beautiful music representation as part of your shrine offerings.
