Conch or chank shells are often used to represent an offering of music on a traditional Tibetan shrine. These genuine shells are approximately 5 to 6 inches long. Due to the nature of these shells they will display slight variation of colour and inclusions. The lovely metalwork on the shell has been silver plated and is inlaid with imitation coral and turquoise. Even though they are very small there is a hole at the apex to allow them to be played.

They would make a beautiful music representation as part of your shrine offerings.

A larger size chank shell. They are traditionally used to symbolise music offerings on the shrine. This shell can even be used as a horn.

Each piece will display slight colour variations, pitting and inclusions, which are a natural part of the shell.
