This medium size thangka recently came to us as part of a small private Tibetan collection.
Chakrasamvara manifests in a number of forms, including this two-armed form. As
one of the principal yidams of the Kagyupa lineages, he is most commonly depicted in this form. He is shown in union with the
red wisdom Dakini, Dorje Phagmo. Chakrasamvara or Korlo Demchog is often translated to mean Highest Bliss. Above his head can be seen the Mahasiddha Tilopa.
