A large necklace that is comprised of 87 ancient stone beads from the Pyu/Tircul period. The main focal bead is a gorgeous highly opalised ancient 5 stripe tiger Pumtek. This is almost dZi-like in quality and has a wonderful usage patina. This strand also includes banded agates, garnet, green chalcedony and rock crystal. These beads were all discovered in Burma and have remained in private collections since the 1980s.

Tiger Pumtek measures 38 mm x 11 mm
Condition: Mostly Very Good. 2 or 3 small beads towards the top are partially damaged (this is how they were discovered). Other beads have weathering and corrosion from extended burial.
