A highly collectible stone bead from ancient Burma. Green Chalcedony beads are seldom seen in the marketplace and this has added rarity because it is carved in the shape of an animal, which is likely to be a stylised crouching tiger. This bead is particularly large for its type and few carved tigers are seen in such wonderful condition. This would make a stunning focal bead on a necklace strung with other stone beads from this region.
