A lovely ancient Phum dZi worn smooth from centuries of close contact to the body. Tibetans regard Phum dZi as the oldest of all dZi. This bead displays the longevity decoration and is a very nice size for adding to a mala. Collected in India in the 1970s.

Prized in Tibet and the Himalayan regions.
Condition: A good bead with no breaks or repairs
Age: 1000 BCE to 300 BCE
Length 20 mm
