An ancient Phum dZi worn smooth from centuries of close contact to the body. Tibetans regard Phum dZi as the oldest of all dZi. This bead has strong weathering but remains robust. It is also nice to see the natural banding in the stone material.

Prized in Tibet and the Himalayan regions.
Condition: A good bead with no breaks or repairs
Age: 1000 BCE to 300 BCE
Length 21.05 mm
Width 11 mm
