A small ancient lotus dZi with some decoration loss. This bead displays a wonderful usage patina and a body worn smooth from centuries of close body contact. The decorated lines probably once arched over to form the appearance of lotus petals. This design is much rarer than the more common longevity design. This bead has a look and feel more closely related to a Phum dZi.

4th Century BCE to 6th Century CE
Sourced in the Himalayan Kingdom of Nepal
Condition: A good bead with minor weathering and some decoration loss. No breaks of repairs.
