A spectacular ancient dZi bead that originally displayed four eyes contained within four squares or earth doors. At some point in antiquity this bead broke in half, however, it has clearly been heirloomed and worn on the body for many centuries. The end wear on both sides and fine usage patina is clearly indicative of this. It is a lovely dark brown colour and is mostly opaque. This large portion display clear decoration and two eyes contained within squares. If this bead was undamaged it would have a price tag of $50,000 + if sold within Asia.
