A superb strand of 64 ancient carnelian beads. Beads display a great patina from being worn. Sought after by Tibetans and people of the Himalayan regions. There are various shapes including round, discs,  small barrels and cornerless cubes. Many of these beads are comparable in quality to ancient Bhaisajyaguru/Suleimani agates accept these beads are crafted from carnelian and not agate.

Condition: Good with expected weathering and surface digs.
Origin: Sourced in India in the 1970s.
