A lovely looking carnelian or sardonyx tabular eye bead. Also known as Luk Mik in Tibet. Displaying a patina commensurate with age. A large concentric circle or eye can be seen and a smaller faint eye is just visible in the centre of the bead. It is difficult to determine if this is a decorated bead or the eyes are the result of natural crystalline banding in the stone.

Prized in Tibet and the Himalayan regions
Condition: Mostly Very Good. A robust bead with minor
weathering and superficial surface fissures.
