A gorgeous fiery necklace comprised of mainly round and tabular diamond shaped beads. There is a good mix of beads on this strand ranging in age from around 500 years old to more than 1000 years. These are the famous Indian Cambay carnelians at their best, and were in high demand in both Western Asia and Africa. Some of the beads have developed an amazing patina from being worn. These beads have been cherry picked for quality and have been strung ready to be worn. There are also a couple of Idar-Oberstein made beads on this strand.
